ACTIVATE, LISTEN, EMPOWER:
A Special Workshop for Museum Educators
AAAM is proud to present for the second year a pre-conference workshop specifically for museum educators. This year’s workshop will focus on new trends in museum education, and the unique challenges faced by African American museums and museum educators.
Join us for an interactive session, which will feature case studies and examples of how museums across the country have tackled the challenges of interpreting difficult history within today's social climate; as well as gain tools, techniques, and resources. Participants will also discuss the re-establishment of a formal community of AAAM museum educators.
