The Association of African American Museums is excited that you will be joining us for our 41st Annual Conference, August 7-10, 2019 in Jackson, Mississippi. The theme of the Conference, Roots of Revolution: Reaching Back | Pushing Forward, signifies a chance to usefully look to our shared past to inform and empower the crafting of our futures amid challenging times.

Get ready to be invigorated and reenergized as we gather in the charming southern comfort of a city soaked in rich history and long-awaited change! This one-of-a-kind conference will bring together representatives from over 300 museums, libraries, historic sites and cultural centers in the United States and the Caribbean.

All conference sessions will be held at the WESTIN HOTEL (407 S. Congress Street | Jackson, MS 39201), unless otherwise noted.
