2020 SILENT AUCTION
The Association of African American Museums (AAAM) will hold its 42nd annual conference August 5-8, 2020. The AAAM Board of Directors and Executive Director, Vedet R. Coleman-Robinson, seek your support of our efforts to raise $10,000 for the Burroughs-Wright Fellowship. The fellowship is awarded to qualified university students and first-year museum professionals to honor the legacy of black museum pioneers, Margaret T. G. Burroughs and Dr. Charles H. Wright.
A Silent Auction will be held at the conference site, The J.W. Marriott Marquis Miami. Auction proceeds allow us to further the mission of providing fellows with professional development, technical training, and mentorship opportunities. AAAM requests your support of the Silent Auction goal, through the donation of an item(s) valued at $25.00 or greater. Donors contributing items valued at $500 or more will receive two tickets to our closing reception on August 7, 2020.
Tickets are limited to the first 10 donors meeting the criteria.
Items in demand at previous auctions include:
- Designer Apparel and Accessories,
- Event Packages,
- Special Event Tickets,
- Gift Certificates,
- Resort Destinations or Stay-cations,
- Artwork, and
- Books
